  • Overview

    The Experiential Marketing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of all experiential events and trade shows CORT Events hosts and/or sponsors, as well as the maintenance of related logistics and properties, under the supervision and guidance of the Marketing Manager. The individual is also responsible for all CORT Events marketing orders, including but not limited to trade shows, sponsorships, experiential events, photoshoots, and showcases.


    1. Maintain internal trade show, conference and experiential events calendar.
    2. Plan and coordinate registration and logistics for all trade shows, conferences, photoshoots, showcases, and experiential events.
    3. Attend, or delegate attendee(s) for, shows where marketing presence is required.

      a. Serve as point of contact for operations and venue/show.
      b. Oversee setup and setup of CORT Events sponsored/exhibit areas, ensuring accuracy of delivered products and furniture placement.
      c. Photograph CORT products in use for marketing materials.
      d. Collaborate with Marketing Coordinator to generate content for social media before, during and after event.
    4. Maintain all directory listings and other promotional materials associated with shows and conferences.
    5. Monitor, maintain and report costs for all CORT Events trade shows, events, and sponsorships.
    6. Develop 2D and 3D space plans as needed for shows, conferences and experiential events.
    7. Create, update and complete all CORT Events marketing orders on Salesforce, including coordination with local district operations teams.
    8. Manage trade show booth properties, including inventory management, delivery receiving.
    9. Manage inventory, ordering, and shipping of promotional items, as well as vendor relationships.


    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent from an accredited four-year college; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Event planning and/or operations experience.
    • Graphic design experience preferred.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to compose business correspondence, press releases, blogs, newsletters, reports, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be technically savvy with strong understanding and familiarity with the following platforms:
    • Familiarity and experience with Salesforce preferred.
    • Familiarity and experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
    • Ability to copy write and edit digital and printed material
    • Ability to communicate, translate and develop design concepts
    • The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
    • Ability to travel 10% to 15%
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
