The Production Manager for Pipe and Drape + LED UpLighting is a first line supervisor, responsible for internal and external operations of CORT’s pipe and drape and LED UpLighting rental products. The job is based in CORT’s Woodridge, IL facility and services the Mid-west markets.
This is a ‘hands on’ role, preparing orders for delivery, using CORT’s computerized inventory system to scan items on and off orders, returning items from rental, and eventually supervising warehouse workers on the drape team. This person will also be responsible for CORT’s team of permanent and contracted field installers. This person will assist in the delivery (driving a medium sized truck from time to time) and installation of drape and LED UpLights, at customer sites which could include hotels, conference centers, and other venues. Three to five years of experience in the event industry is strongly desired for this role, as is experience in pipe and drape. A minimum of two years of previous supervisory experience is required.
