The Inventory Control Clerk compiles records and assures accuracy concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping product.

Responsibilities

  • Receives new product into the warehouse and processes it into the electronic inventory data base.
  • Maintains product predicate levels.
  • Assures that product is cleaned, repaired and stored according to Company quality standards.
  • Insures that product is correctly located in the warehouse and in the inventory system.
  • Regularly prepare pallets of product to ensure safe transport between districts
  • Conducts product cycle counts.
  • Prepares requisitions for ordering of new product needed.
  • Reviews and processes transfers in/out
  • Orders parts

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent or 1 plus years of experience without a degree
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Ability to make minor repairs to furniture and to match colors.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to drive a furniture picker.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. As a condition of continual employment must be able to pass all random and post-accident drug tests.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed to include: long hours, odd hours, and weekends.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Frequently is required to walk and climb or balance.  Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
